Tuesday

Open House was a great success! Thank you so much for taking the time to come out last night...we had almost 100 percent attendance for our classroom. I loved all the positive comments about the blog and couldn't wait to post more pictures of your children! We had quite a busy Tuesday and are looking forward to Music class tomorrow. Be sure to check out Mrs. Griffin's Music blog when you get a chance http://pawsomemusic.blogspot.com

We read this book from our "Being A Writer" curriculum. After the story, the students learned how to partner up and share their ideas with one another. They really like listening to their friend's ideas and sharing their own.

Partners....sharing ideas

The students then took their ideas back to their tables and wrote them down on paper. The question from the book was "What do you love about school?" We made a classroom book for our library, but I took a few pictures of the creativity first.

(Alayna likes to play on the playground slide. She even wrote the "P" for play.)

(Kaly likes playing outside with her teachers.)

(Taylor likes to draw on the Promethean Board.)

(Celina likes to play in Centers.)

Someone was very proud of their new outfit today. Love it! How can that pose not bring a smile to your face?!

We continued with our lesson on the letter Bb. We read this story and made our own bear craft.

And the highlight of the day......the BIG kids playground. It was our first time out there!

  1. Mrs. Swann and Mrs. Moro,
As I stated on the email...I AM VERY IMPRESSED with this Blogspot. We are so lucky to have the ability to visualize captured moments of our children and their experience in Kindergarten. And it's teachers, like yourselves, who go above and beyond, to reach out to parents, as well as document our children's experience.

Thank you again for doing that for us. And I have to share my husband's gratitude, as he is away for work, and is so glad he has this, to help him keep up with his princess Kaly. :o)

    Blessings,
    Mrs. Zafra
